Easy Rip & Download Online Videos with Real Media Player

The Free version of Real Media Player offers a tool to download online videos & media files. Although the paid versions offer many more functionalities like ripping, burning & transferring media from your computers to your portable media players like iPods & MP3 players, the free version would suffice for most of light daily uses.

The paid version gives additional downloads from Real Networks is available for less than USD 40.00.

Once you download & install the Free Real Media Player, you need to set the Download Preference to enable the toolbar to start downloading (or you could right click on the online movie & chose to download). You can also set up where to download your files. I did not see any “Save To” option for individual downloads, so you can only save them in the folder that you mention in the Download Preference.

Once set up, the Download Bar will pop-up over any online movie that you play on the browser.
