Firefox announced the Extend Firefox 3 Contest Winners & released the Best Firefox Extensions & Best Firefox Add-Ons .

The panel of high profile judges announced the Best Add-Ons as well as the Best Updated Addons for Firefox 3.

The list included Pencil by Dương Thành An , a free and open source tool for making diagrams, GUI prototyping & simple sketching.

Tagmarks by Felipe Tassario Gomes , adds a set of icons to the quick bookmarks, allowing you to quickly add tags to your bookmarks by clicking on each icon.

Some of the other productivity tools used with Firefox that came up as Runners Up include:

• Devo by Abimanyu Raja – A command launcher for Firefox
• Close ‘N Forget by Benoit Bailleux – close the current tab and forget about the visit &
• Callout by László Bácsi – Makes the notification services of the Operating System available for web pages and Grease monkey scripts

The Grand Prize Winner for the Best Music AddOn went to Fire.fm by Jorge Villalobos and Jose Enrique Bolaños. With Fire.fm users can listen to music of their favorite artist & discover new artists and music in the process. Users can also listen to their friends’ favorite music & access favorite stations by just typing a few letters into the location bar.

However, the Fire.fm add-on is still undergoing enhancements. This add-on is also compatible with Flock web browser.
