Fix MSN Explorer Email Issues – Resolve File Extension MailHost Mail Problems with MSN Live Hotmail

The popular Microsoft MSN Explorer program uses files of the type MailHost. File Extension MAILHOST identifies Microsoft e-mail preference files that come installed with MSN.

MSN Explorer integrates several Microsoft applications & internet networks together like MSN Live & Hotmail. Many Microsoft partners & other websites associated with Microsoft like the Affiliates, also use MSN Email tools for login purposes.

If you have a problem with File Extension Mailhost, you could run into issues sending & receiving emails from MSN or from any service using MSN features. This could be due to missing or corrupted .Mailhost files.

The problem can be resolved by re-associating the mailui.dll system file to MSN Explorer program. This will automatically fix the File Extension Mailhost email problems. There is an easy way to do that:

  1. Click Start Button
  2. Click Run
  3. Type regsvr32 c:\progra~1\msn\msncorefiles\mailui.dll
  4. Click OK

If you are signed into MSN, sign out and then sign back in and everything should work OK.
