PeaZip is a portable & multi-platform file & archive manager. PeaZip works on 32 and 64 bit Windows (9x, 2000, XP, Vista) and Linux (PeaZip is a desktop neutral application).

With PeaZip you can  archive & compress 7Z, ARC, BZ2, GZ, PAQ/LPAQ, PEA, QUAD/BALZ, TAR, UPX, ZIP files, while you can open 72 different file types including ACE, ARJ, CAB, DEB, ISO, LHA, RAR & RPM zipped formats.

Among the other popular features PeaZip can also repair ARC files & can join or split files. Many times you will find the need to split large files into multiple smaller files before you can upload onto the internet or send them by emails. PeaZip has the feature to either split one large file into many smaller ones or to join the various components of the larger file to reconstruct the original.
