Free RSS Combiner – Combine Many RSS Feeds into One With Free Google RSS Feed Aggregator for Blogs
Google has released a Free RSS Combiner Plugin for WordPress. This Free WordPress RSS Combiner is a Free WordPress Plugin that lets you merge several RSS-Feeds into one.
It caches the input feeds, sorts items by publishing-date and then outputs a feed in either RSS 2.0 or Atom 1.0 format.
RSS Feeds, when added to a web page helps new content to show up on the pages. As such, since the feeds refresh with time, blog pages with RSS Feeds always show up as “new content” in the eyes of search engines.
You can download the Free RSS Combiner WordPress Plugin for free.
The Free RSS Combiner plugin is created by Erik Pöhler & has been released under the GNU GP License. The plugin uses Simplepie & php codes to combine many RSS feeds into one.

Set up is very simple:
- download the Free RSS Combiner plugin
- copy the content into the WordPress plugin folder
- change the chmod of ‘/wp-content/plugins/wp-rss-combiner/simplepie/cache’ to ’0777′
- activate the Free RSS Combiner plugin from the Admin dashboard
- add the Feed URL from the RSS Combiner tab in the Admin menu
This Free RSS Feed Combiner plugin works very much like FriendFeed. And one thing that the Free RSS Feed combiner lacks is the ability to give higher weights to certain feeds URLs over others.
For example, if you have 5 website feeds & you want to combine the RSS Feeds of these websites, then, you may want to give priority to some websites over another. It could be either by grouping the feeds, or by ordering the feeds in some priority (much like the Page Order option you use when publishing a WordPress blog page).
Hopefully this great free WordPress RSS Feed combiner will be enhanced in the future.
