Iconoid is a free Windows software that lets you manage your desktop icons with ease. It works only on Windows based computers.

Iconoid will run on Windows 98, ME, NT, 2000, XP and Vista & Windows 7. You must have at least COMDLG32.DLL version 4.70 on your system.  That is installed with Win98 and 2000, or Internet Explorer Version 4 or higher.
