Game Theory – Predicting Political Results, National Growth & Future of Iran
Bruce Bueno de Mesquita has been a mathematician and an adviser to the CIA on various political matters that involves better understanding for foreign regimes & international politics.
Bruce Bueno de Mesquita depends on a mathematical model of the game theory to predict, with a high degree of certainty, the outcome of various complex real life problems.
In a recent presentation to TED, Bruce Bueno de Mesquita explains how his computer based game theory model could be used to predict the future of the Iranian political situation within a 2 year span.
He has proved over & over again how his computer model that can predict the outcomes of international conflicts with bewildering accuracy. His basic assumption to these mathematical predictions is that any event is influenced by people who act towards their own personal interest!
Bueno de Mesquita heads Mesquita & Roundell & sells his system’s predictions and analysis to influential government and private institutions that need heads-ups on policy. He also teaches at NYU and is a senior fellow at the Hoover Institution.
In this 20 minutes presentation he deduces how the current political power in Iran would change rapidly within the next 2 years & what powers will emerge to be stronger influencers of the Iranian political scenes. The predictions carry a high level of accuracy – close to 90% in most cases.
