Google Launches the Android SDK Beta Version 0.9 – HTC Android Mobile Handset Delayed
Dan Morrill announced the launch of the Google Android Beta version 0.9. The SDK 0.9 Beta can be downloaded from the Google Android site.
Commenting on the functionalities & the stability of the new SDK 0.9 Beta, Dan said "Since this is a beta release, applications developed with it may not quite be compatible with devices running the final Android 1.0. However, the APIs are now pretty stable and we don’t expect any major changes."
Google progressively is updating its GIT , which are instructions on how to manage code revisions.
Now with both Symbian & Android available to open source developers, there are rumors that Google and Nokia may soon merge Android with the now-open source Symbian platform.
