Google Moon – Pictures of Apollo’s Landing Places on the Moon
Google has some fascinating images of the sky. Google has extended Google Earth application to show pictures of the sky above. With Google Sky , you can browse the sky above, view constellations & even zoom into Moon & Mars.
You have to download Google Earth & you could use it to browse the earth as well as the sky above.

The Google Moon section shows the close up views of the Moon’s surface. When you roll the cursor over any of the six landing spots of the Apollos, a balloon pops up with more information.
A complex computer program also maps the constellations & galaxies with images from the Hubble space telescope & other infra red & ultraviolet images. Google Sky will show you the planets of our solar system along with some of the historical informations. It is educational as much as it is entertaining.
